From Cinema to Chinese to Web
I've had a broad spectrum of experiences that has prepared me for the eclectic mindset needed in the web world. My first college degree was in cinema, after which I moved to China for 7 years, and in addition to teaching English, I earned a second college degree in Chinese language and literature.
Since then, I've attended three different bootcamps related to web (React/Node, React Native, and UX/UI), and now work full-time as a web developer for a university in Greenville, South Carolina, where I can combine my love for web and education.
